G-Dem's first birthday and has a large event. Server switches to 1.19.2. We raid the first ancient city as a group. This was attended by: AJ, cray, kat, Jon, Jack, Juice, Omega, Spino, and Jules. And was recorded by AJ. Jon's Speech: Hello, citizens of the G-Dem SMP. Today we gather here to celebrate greatness, the greatness of the G-Dem SMP! They said we couldn't do it, they said the server would dye, they said I was a bad owner... But they were WRONG! We have suvived, we have prospered and we have grown; like a caterpilla turns into butterfly, we have changed from a small, humble mincraft server hosted on aternos into a large, lively, payed for server that's capable of even funding itself. This was achieved not only be me, but by our capable staff team and you guys, the players! I just can't thank you people enough for the help you have given us to grow to this level. Talking about the staff team, I would like talk about our staff and announce the new promotions! Our first staff member, Omegadestroy400, has been with us since the beginning (ehem, but also got removed a little while because of kermitcraft, ehem). Then KingCrimson614, who sadly could not be here today, and also didn't contibute much but was funny, mainly in the area of pissing of omega but all the same, quite amusing. B8nji also joined our team, and is also sadly is not with us, but was a integral part of the early server, they partaked in much of the early pvp and then gave all their stuff to someone who proceeded to never play again before they quit. AJBallistic was our next member due to their exessive playing and extreme devotion to the server, they rapidly climed to ranks until they reached the top as a Co-Owner And then our final two recruits: CallMeCray and Jackaboi1. Crayon wasn't two intertwined with server events, they did contribute the exploding of the spawn church and trying to find AJs base, which they eventually lost to Mihail who found it without even looking for it. Jackaboi1 joined from planet minecraft, they have contributed much to server lore, they were integral to the ice saga and now owns one of the main teams. PROMOTIONS. We have also had many features added to set us asside from other SMPs, while we have generic features like MCMMO and an economy, we also went above and beyond, developing our own plugins for own own currency, logging play time and one more that will be unveiled in a bit! We also do things a little different, with our teams, wars, punishment system and other things to make the server fairer and more enjoyable place. Today we released some new features, we updated to 1.19.2, they newest version of Minecraft! To address the issue of Microsoft's recent attempts to safify chat: that has been disabled, now for a minute of saying the most outragous stuff in chat as everyone has nick perms and no tags/prefixes so no one will know who is who! Today we are also going to unveil the brand new G-Dem website and more importenly, our new and improved rule system, the website is up at G-Dem_SMP.apexmc.co:8080, please refrain from crashing it!
